EDITORIAL COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER (F\/M\/D)<\/h1>\n
\u00a0In this role, you will be responsible for designing and managing the online presence of our departments in the Humanities and Social Sciences. In doing so, you will further develop target group-oriented online communication and systematically and professionally manage the social media presence of the departments. This is a permanent position based in Berlin or remotely elsewhere in Germany.<\/p>\n
YOUR TASKS<\/h2>\n
- \n
- Developing concepts for target group-oriented online communication and targeted community and engagement management to support the Humanities and Social Sciences editorial departments in their strategic expansion of author networks<\/li>\n
- Managing the social media accounts of the Humanities and Social Sciences editorial departments, including the creation of content (texts, videos, graphics, etc.) in coordination with the editorial teams and the graphics department<\/li>\n
- Planning and implementation of social media campaigns to support the acquisition activities of the editorial teams<\/li>\n
- Monitoring, analysis and evaluation of the social media activities of the HSS editorial departments<\/li>\n
- Coordination of the subject area pages on the publisher's homepage in consultation with the individual editorial departments; development of an SEO-based concept for digital presence in order to successfully address new authors<\/li>\n
- Coordination of digital catalog creation<\/li>\n
- Media support for editorial events such as conferences, book presentations, webinars (in coordination with Marketing and Communications)<\/li>\n
- Contact person in the editorial office for Marketing & Communications<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n \u00a0\n
YOUR PROFILE<\/h2>\n
- \n
- At least a BA in a humanities discipline<\/li>\n
- At least two years of experience in the conceptual development and management of social media channels and ideally in audiovisual content creation<\/li>\n
- Very good knowledge of the academic landscape in the humanities<\/li>\n
- Confident in the use of software relevant to the job as well as standard social media tools<\/li>\n
- Good analytical and conceptual skills, creativity and inventiveness<\/li>\n
- High level of initiative coupled with team spirit and reliability<\/li>\n
- Structured, organized and conscientious way of working<\/li>\n
- Strong communication skills and a good sense of how to address target groups appropriately<\/li>\n
- Excellent knowledge of German and English<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
