We seek an experienced Head of Sales Administration (m/f/d) who is self-motivated, collaborative, and passionate about supervising, monitoring and fostering a global sales and distribution operation of high renown.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • Supervising all sales administrative tasks including (among others) sustaining efficient order process management, reliable and knowledgable customer service and sustainable author relationship management
  • Supervising and maintaining high-performance inventory management across global distribution centers ?Defining requirements and resources needed and effectively communicating the volume of work and resource allocation involved
  • Establishing clear task descriptions, deadlines, and schedules to foster a culture based on accountability
  • Supervising the sales administration team and ensuring that all quality, time and budget requirements are met
  • Identifying, reporting, and trouble shooting issues in conjunction with both the sales director and superior general administration
  • Ensuring compliance with both external and internal requirements
  • Supervising the compilation and monitoring the distribution of sales performance reports
  • Organization of and participation in general trade shows and industry fairs in close collaboration with the marketing teams

Your profile:

  • You will ideally come from a publishing background and have 5+ years of work experience in one or more of the fields of logistics, stock management, sales administration or author relations
  • You have expert organizational skills and in-depth working knowledge of inventory management, meta- and content data aggregators, logistics and royalty processes, workflows, and terminology
  • You are proficient in database management, know how to handle ERP and CRM systems and feel generally "computer savvy"
  • You have an excellent economic understanding as well as leadership-skills
  • You have a strong sense of responsibility paired with good judgment and problem-solving skills
  • You break-down problems and present defined solutions
  • Your are fluent in German and English, both written and verbally, other languages are a plus
  • You can work both independently and as part of a team, to motivate yourself and others
